June 11th: Day 9

Today was such a learning experience, one of the best days visit wise so far. Went to the Sacred exhibition at the British Library. Some of the old Jewish texts and Torahs gave me chills. I bought the book. Central Saint Martins School of Art and Design was great too, awesome professors and teaching philosophy, not to mention the resources they have there. Best visit so far = Peter Saville. Legendary graphic designer whith great insight and very cynical. People thought he was a downer, I thought he was so inspiring. Whether you agree with the point he made or not, just the questions he raised are important to consider. He made you look at yourself and ask some moral and important questions about what matters. He should write a book.

Haiku of the day:

Phill and Catherine
Sacred at the Library
Peter Saville. Great.

Quotes of the day:
"internal veritcal juxtaposition"
"doing something because it matters"
"creativity that isnt worth doing is pointless
"the solution is in the problem"

total cost:
$683.00
